Steven Charchut, DMD, MS, is a writer for Bracequestions.com.  Dr. Charchut completed his undergraduate degree at Duke University and attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Michigan where he received his Masters of Science in cleft palate research. Dr. Charchut was certified by the C.H. Tweed Foundation of Orthodontic Research and is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Association of Orthodontists, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. His clinical and genetic research publications can be found in the Journal of Dentistry for Children, The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, and The Laryngoscope Medical Journal. Dr. Charchut currently runs two private orthodontic practices in Lansing and St. Johns, Michigan.
